Offset circle hooks are designed to allow fish to run with the bait until your line comes tight and the hook naturally rolls into the corner of the mouth of the fish to hook up.

They are a great hook to use for ‘lazy’ rigs fished from a rod holder as the fish usually hook themselves. Anglers do not need to strike on the bite.

These hooks are the perfect deepwater bottom fishing hook used with your favourite paternoster ‘dropper-style’ rigs with live baits or snelled for large strip baits from the boat or the shore.

Our customers that use these hooks use the 2/0 for targeting smaller fish like Herring with the tails of Mulies or small pieces of Prawns, the 6/0 and 8/0 are perfect for larger Demersal species like Dhu and Snapper and can also be used in rivers or off the beach to target the elusive (Silver Ghost) Mulloway.
