This is a 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel wire hook for catching crabs, passed by fisheries WA , once used you will never go back to a scoop net again.
Less Drag/Resistance through the water from the large handle and bowl of a scoop net.
None or minimal silt disturbace due to the scoop net dragging through the sand/silt/mud – you don’t lose sight of your target.
The standard version weighs only 220grams (a lot less than a scoop) so they are great for kids to handle.
The standard hooks are over 1M long and the hook itself is 190mm
The dive version is 500 mm long overall and was developed with divers to remove the need to dive or snorkel with heavy gloves
